Personal Statement

I graduated in May 2015 from Baylor University with a BFA in Studio Art and a focus in Graphic Design. I have gained valuable experience designing advertising and marketing material including brochures, logos, posters, ads, product packaging, websites and booklets. I am proficient in the industry-standard design software including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Additionally, I am highly proficient with a variety of offset printing processes, and web design software such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

RUMOUR MEDIA

June 2022 - Present | Web Designer / Developer

At Rumour Media I build and manage automotive-based Wordpress websites for our clients. We push the boundaries on how users will interface with each website through UI/UX design, and website mapping. I have demonstrated myself to be a self-starter who can solve problems independently and communicate within the marketing team.

OSKY BLUE

Developing design elements of client projects and assist in the development of client website projects. Execute internal design and development projects including building the design and layout for each website. Inform the team of new trends and tools that would benefit client marketing and strategy. All while also participating in staff meetings and deliver status updates on the design and development portion of projects.

MCD INNOVATIONS

April 2016 - May 2018 | Graphic & Web Designer

At MCD I worked in multiple creative disciplines utilizing my good eye for design and creativity. I created brochures, point-of-purchase displays, pamphlets, folders, trade show backgrounds as well as flyers. Redesigned their websites and utilized my SEO experience, increasing their traffic by 30%. In redesigning the website I improved the user experience, so that they only have a 36% bounce rate. TEXAS HOUSE OF GRAPHICS

September 2015 - January 2016 | Graphic Designer

Texas House of Graphics was a T-shirt and a vinyl car wraps graphic design company. I reviewed final layouts and suggested changes to the clients as needed and develop prints to produce the T-shirts, mugs, or signage, using print developing equipment, created them with print developing equipment and Adobe Creative Suite.

September 2013 - May 2015 | Graphic Designer

I worked for this church doing various designs throughout my attendance at Baylor University. My responsibilities included various graphics such as redesigning their logo, making a T-shirt design and Easter newspaper ads. I also created a painting project for the church’s college group while at Baylor.
